Up & Coming Chicago Rapper Spenzo Had A Meeting With Atlantic Records, Is He Signing To The Label
In the music industry, the rumor mill is buzzing and people are saying that Chicago’s up & coming rapper Spenzo either signed or is in the process of signing to Atlantic Records. At the current moment, I cannot confirm nor deny if that rumor is true but I can attest that this 17-year oldChi-Town emcee had a meeting with the label a couple of months ago. The big names in the room included Michael Kyser, Lyor Cohen and Julie Greenwald. Spenzo is also working on his upcoming project, In Spenzo We Trust. No one, and I mean no one should ever buy a drink when Jay Z and Beyoncé are around. That’s because they have enough to buy the bar and the bartender. Forbes released their list of the highest-earning celebrity couples and for a second year in a row, Beyoncé and Jay Z sit on their thrones at number one racking in an estimated $95 million from June 2012-June 2013. How did they do it you ask? Well, Beyoncé’s “Mrs. Carter” world tour sure helped. Mrs. “Grown Woman” herself made $2 million a show! Oh, and Jay Z was no lazy bum you know. His “Watch the Throne” album and world tour with fellow rapper Kanye West helped leave him and his wife at number one of Forbes’ list. And they didn’t even count the sales of his recent release “Magna Carta…Holy Grail.” The album was released in July making it not eligible to count toward their earnings. They are a power couple for sure.

Artist Action Bronson, Hopsin, Bun B, ASAP Rocky, Maino, and
Smoke DZA all had something to say about the, Nov. 12, Trinidad James New York Rant. Action Bronson and Smoke DZA took their comment and posted them on Twitter. Hopsin
had a recent interview with XXLMag.com, where he stated his opinion on James’s
comments, calling him the worst... ever. "Trinidad James is the most
garbage piece of rapper that has ever existed on the face of the Earth. His
opinion is like a newborn baby saying it's the king of the world, as far as
fighting and it would whoop Bruce Lee's a**. Bun B and A$AP Rocky offered their opinion on it in an interview with MTV's RapFixLive. Maino had the most to say about the comments sending threats to Trinidad James over Twitter. James also has a few words his shares.

On November 12, Trinidad James came out to perform at the Converse Rubber Tracks event in New York City. During the concert, James stopped to say how to go on a short rant about how he thinks the New York’s hip-hop scene has fallen off and how the South was taking over.

Kanye West will debut his new music video on "The Ellen Show" next week
It appears that Kanye West is back with another one of his advanced marketing strategies, kind of.
Ellen Degeneres took to her twitter account on Friday night and announced that Kanye Westwill be premiering a new music video off Yeezusnext week on her show. No word yet on what record it will actually be, but an guess would be for his current radio single "Bound 2". Rumors are circulating that the episode will be aired on Monday.

Derrick Rose day to day
Derrick Rose underwent treatment on his sore right hamstring Tuesday, an injury that didn't require an MRI and which the Bulls said leaves their franchise player day to day.
Rose is trying to take advantage of an advantageous situation — a three-day break between games. Late Monday, Rose vowed to play Friday in Toronto. But given how conservatively the Bulls treated injuries during the preseason, it wouldn't be surprising to see Rose sit until Saturday's home game against the Central Division-rival Pacers.
Of greater concern than Rose's injury, which he suffered on a drive late in Monday's victory over the Cavaliers, is Rose struggling to finish at the rim and get to the foul line consistently. He has attempted just 20 free throws in six games and had none against the Cavs despite repeatedly attacking the basket.
"He's not quite finishing his plays off, which he normally does," coach Tom Thibodeau said. "I'd like to see him get to the line a little bit. But he has to keep working at it."

CHANCE THE RAPPER DIFFUSES EMINEM TOUR RUMOURS
One of the names that had been expected to join in on the massive Rapture event, headed up by Eminem and also featuring rappersKendrick Lamar, J Cole, 360 and Action Bronson, was hugely hyped ChicagoanChance The Rapper. Today, as FasterLouderhave pointed out, he has denied that he will be joining the line-up, due to exhaustion – or, as he puts it, “being mad tired”.
Chance The Rapper’s Acid Rap mixtape released in April of this year has been praised by the public and critics alike and is considered by many to be one of the best hip hop releases of the year.
His name had appeared on an early poster advertising the event, alongside Action Bronson who was not part of its first announce. Bronson has since confirmed he will join in on the party, but no such luck for fans of the young Chicago artist.
Jhene Aiko has revealed the artwork, tracklist, and features for her upcoming "Sail Out" EP.
Jhene Aiko's upcoming EP, Sail Out is due out November 12th, and the project now has cover art as well as a full tracklist. The 7-track effort will feature guest appearances from Vince Staples, Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, and as previously heard, Childish Gambino. Her debut album, Souled Out, will follow later in 2014.

Nicki Minaj Says She's The King & Queen Of NY, Throws Shade At Drake?
Nicki Minaj was in the news this weekend thanks to Power 105's Powerhouse concert in Brooklyn and a pair of interviews. The YMCMB Barbie finally addressed Kendrick Lamar's "Control" verse and she also seemed to throw shade at Drake. The Breakfast Club caught up with Nicki after her surprise performance at the Barclays Center on Saturday night. After talking about working on her new album (due in 2014) and Halloween costumes, Charlamagne Da God asked her about not being mentioned in Kendrick Lamar's "Control" verse. "I'm probably in the top five of the ni--as he did mention, so go and do your motherfucking research. Straight up and down," said Minaj "But, I also feel like maybe he's one of those respectful gentlemen that probably wanted to feel like, 'I don't want to say a female's name.' Or maybe he just don't think the kid is ill. But the kid know the kid is ill, so I don't need to be on nobody's d-ck." She added, jokingly (sort of), "I'm the Queen of New York, I'm the King of New York, let me tell you why, platinum album. Albums, plural." As for Drake's new album, Nothing Was The Same, on "Tuscan Leather," the Toronto rapper mentioned that he and Nicki Minaj were not on the best of terms over something he did. During an interview with Whoo Kid, she addressed Drizzy when asked about his lack of Young Money features on his latest project "No, I'm Young Money til the death of me," she told Whoo Kid, noting that her album will surely have plenty of YMCMB contributions. "Drake can do what Drake do but Nicki Minaj is a whole different person. I think your team is your team. Who gives a f-ck about trying to be different? I'm always going to want my team to be a part of my project, no matter what, in some way." Are we reading too much in between the lines, or was that a shot?
