R.I.P:Rapper Doe B Shot and Killed

Grand Hustle rapper, Doe B was shot and killed during a performance last night in his hometown of Montgomery, Alabama. According to reports, the “Let Me Find Out” rapper, born Glenn Thomas, was performing at the Centennial Hill Bar & Grill in his hometown of Montgomery when someone opened fired, shooting the up-and-coming MC. He later succumbed to his wounds. He was 22 years old. A woman, Kim Johnson, 21, was also reportedly fatally shot. The shooting, which left six other patrons injured, occurred at around 1:30 a.m.Kimberle Johnson as the second murder victim turned 21 this week and was a student at Troy University in nearby Troy, Ala. Doe B was shot in the eye three years ago, before his burgeoning rap career took off and he joined T.I.’s Grand Hustle Records.

Lil Boosie Get A Release Date 

According to New Orleans', Lil Boosie is scheduled to come home from prison August 18, 2014. That is the date on record with the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections, the publication reported. also said that Boosie would be under supervision until June 17, 2018. Lil Boosie, born Torrence Hatch, was first locked up for violating probation from a drug bust in 2008. He was then charger on first-degree murder in 2010, and acquitted in 2012. Boosie is still in prison on an eight-year sentence for smuggling codeine, weed, and ecstasy into the Angola Prison facility. The rapper pleaded guilty to the charge but his lawyer insists that drug incident was a set-up by an informant.

This is Ross and Jay's second collaboration this year, Ross and Jay-Z got together on the track "FuckWithMeYouKnowIGotIt" off Magna Carta, Holy Grail that was featured on Jay-Z’s album.

Chance The Rapper becomes Chance The Late Night Television Performer tonight as the Acid Rap rapper makes his late night TV debut on the The Arsenio Hall Show. The most indie artist ever secured a performance slot on late night? And Meagan Good is the guest? Does it get much better than that? What song [s] will be perform? So many questions.
Well, they’ll all be answered tonight at 10pm (CST) on WGN, when the The Arsenio Hall Show runs here in Chicago. This is a much watch. Stay woke, y’all.

Gucci Mane Facing 20 Year Jail Sentence 

Gucci Mane was charged in federal court Tuesday with two counts of possessing a firearm as a felon after two September incidents during which he showed a gun and threatened police, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Georgia.A federal grand jury indicted Davis on November 19. He made an initial appearance before Magistrate Judge Linda T. Walker and was detained in custody pending trial."On September 12, 2013, Davis, who was a felon at the time, was found in possession of a firearm," the release said. "Then, just two days later, on September 14th, he again possessed a firearm different from the earlier gun. On both occasions, Davis displayed the loaded firearm, acted erratically, and made threats to individuals, including police and his attorney." 
Each charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

Also: A rumor circulated  that Gucci Mane woke up in his cell with his cellmate trying to lick the ice cream cone tattoo off his face while attempting to touch him inappropriately. FALSE
Gucci Mane himself shared a tweet regarding the rumor.

Welcome Home: Fat Joe Returns From Four Month Jail Sentence

Fat Joe was sentenced to four months in jail for tax evasion, but the Bronx rapper was released early. Joe only did three of his four months. He was released in time to surprise his family for thanksgiving. In the original report, it stated that “Joe failed to pay taxes on some $3 million in income for years 2007 through 2010, an estimated tax loss to the government of $718,038.” After his released Fat Joe posted a video on his Instagram, surprising his daughter that daddy was home.

Drake Signs With Jordan Shoe Brand

Drake announced he signed a new shoe deal with Nike and Jordan brand. He made the announcement during a concert in Portland. During his show, Drake said, "Today I came to Portland, and I officially became inducted into the Team Jordan family." Drake said it was one of the best days of his life.Drake posted a shot of his special OVO Air Jordans to his Instagram page.
